The Hertz Corporation Tech Hub Project Coordinator in Estero, Florida
Oversee Portfolio Mgmt Mechanisms – Tech Work Phase Review (i.e., review of cross function and cross business projects/products/initiatives); Tech Generator Meetings (i.e., tech leadership investment planning); Tech SMG Performance Review (bi-weekly CIO team review CEO and cross functional leadership)
Partner with VP Tech Portfolio Mgmt & BI to set agenda plans – meeting objective, expectations and outcomes
Develop meeting consolidated material – presentation and handouts; lead the coordination with participants for timely input and information
Facilitate meeting logistics – room, A/V, calendar notices
Deliver post meeting summary
Oversee action register and deliverable tracking
Manage Tech Hub Hertz Learning forums – develop and deliver cross business tech education, partnering with technical leadership.
Lead Tech Event Planning and Execution – all tech team meetings
Support Tech Communications – tech weekly – release status and project updates
Manage Tech Work Intake Process – supporting VP Portfolio Mgmt & Business Integration
Key Result Areas
Follow the established PMO framework and methodologies for managing projects.
Manage all aspects of infrastructure audit projects including planning, scheduling and implementation activities.
Facilitate and coordinate the various tasks for successfully remediation of audit issues.
Define, monitor, and manage project schedules and responsibilities.
Identify all contributing parties and their respective tasks.
Determine task relationships and realistic completion dates.
Effectively communicate the project status to all team members.
Establish and enact escalation procedures for questionable project milestones.
Ensure requirements for approvals, controls, and documentation is satisfied.
Obtain detailed knowledge of the project, identify problem areas before they impact the project, and coordinate corrective actions.
Report periodic progress of each project to all involved project members, as well as all levels of IT management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
- 5 years business experience – project coordination, account management and/or with understanding of the technology lifecycle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions and take action.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and tasks in a demanding environment.
Ability to influence others without formal authority
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation.
