The Hertz Corporation Enterprise Mobility Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
TheEnterprise Mobility Engineeris primarily responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the company’sEnterprise Mobility Mgmt tool (Mobile Device and Application Management). The Engineer will enable the company’sEnterprise Mobility through the Enterprise Mobility tool, which includes continuous learning of the tool’s capabilities, determining how those changes impact Hertz, and implementing change to improve services, compliance, and/or security.Additionally, this role will support and assist other IT End User support functions, as needed. The successful candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
Manage the overall Enterprise Mobility Mgmt tool (currently Microsoft InTune platform) to manage over 10,000 devices globally
Build and manage device/user profiles and policies
Build and manage the Enterprise App Store
Manage and oversee device updates
Provide user support for issues escalated from the Help Desk and Field Support
Provide access and tools for the Help Desk and Desktop support to leverage the tool for 1 st level support (Pin resets, device compliance checks, enrollment, etc.)
Collaborate with Application Development (e.g. Project O.N.E.) to ensure that new mobile applications are appropriately signed and published to mobile devices and relevant App Stores (Apple, Google, etc.) as well as our Enterprise App Store; and that they are tested on our standard devices
Lead audits and investigations related to mobile devices and applicable data
Inventory of all mobile devices to include status, location, and owner and feed into our IT Asset Mgmt system
Follow Change Management requirements as required for deployment and project implementation.
Collaborate with business partners, Wireless Network, Threat Management, and other teams as necessary on new technologies and business opportunities.
Partner with management on strategic planning, delivery, and support for current and future mobility initiatives.
Administrate and Support mobile device hardware, software and infrastructure mobility tools including InTune, Apple Business Mgr, Apple Configurator, etc.
Work on improvements to include:
Simplified Wi-Fi and VPN
Secure Intranet Access
Advanced Security and Governance reporting/alerts
Co-management of Mac OSX and Windows 10 devices
Anomaly detection (SIM card swaps, device enrollment in non-operation countries, etc.)
Help IT and End User Support team achieves assigned goals
Daily Tasks Include:
Quickly resolve complex, break/fix issues in person or via telephone
Perform installations, replacements, upgrades, and other hardware/software related tasks as needed
Address issues with data feeds to and from Enterprise Mobility toolset
Monitor development of Enterprise Mobility toolset to understand upcoming features, and analyze potential benefits to Hertz users, formalize strategies and architecture to implement and deploy these features
Receive and respond to incoming support requests in a timely manner including off hours
Follow set procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring Enterprise Mobility Mgmt tool operations
Provide knowledge base articles and training to Desktop and Help Desk support teams
Creation of how-to documentation and work instructions for users
Participate in mobile application development processes
Stay abreast of new Mobile hardware and software trends and releases
Provide on call support as necessary for infrastructure and enterprise wide mobility issues.
Monitoring mobile infrastructure environments for stability
6+ years of experience in building and managing an Enterprise Mobility Mgmt toolset (Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, etc.)
5+ years of experience in desktop hardware, operating systems, smartphones, and printers
5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office 365 products (Windows, Office, Outlook, Skype for Business, etc.)
7+ years’ experience in business communication and unified collaboration platforms such as messaging, video conferencing, telephony, etc.
Proficient with mobile device hardware repair, software, and operating systems.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with the ability to perform under pressure
Administration of Active Directory users and computers
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to analyze issues and root cause.
Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents.
Strong written and oral communication skills with a focus on executive level support
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute
